Hostel Elizabeth's

Hostel Elizabeth's is a popular and well loved hostel in San Juan del Sur, not just because of it's excellent location, cheap rates and lively atmosphere but also because owner, Elizabeth is a most hospitable and warm host.  With rocking chairs on the patio that leave guests chatting for hours into the evening and a warm family run atmosphere, Elizabeth's is a solid bet!

La Casa Feliz

The Happy House (La Casa Feliz) features dorms and private rooms, a shared kitchen (there's a blender too for smoothies and rum drinks) and lots of space to chill out with hammocks, surf movies and your favorite flicks.  They do surf tours daily and can arrange boat trips and other trips to all the sites.  Rates vary from $7usd for a single bed to $15 usd for a double. This place really lives up to it's name!

Hostel Los Tres Hermanos

Hostel Los Tres Hermonos is one of the most loved hostel accommodations in San Juan del Sur.  Located on Playa Maderas directly in front of the most popular surf break in Nicaragua, you'll be certain to love it here if your aim is maximum surf, chill and hammock time.  It only has a few basic rooms so be sure to check availability in advance with one of the friendly brothers.

Hotel Estrella

Hotel Estrella boasts quite possibly the best view + value accommodation in San Juan del Sur! At only $6 a night, most rooms have balconies overlooking the stunning San Juan bay, there is little a more authentic stay than here. The rooms are simple & wooden with colorful walls and just the natural breeze floating through, good enough a natural fan for the majority of the year!  A popular choice, but be quick to book as this one is often full during the high season.
